The 1976 issue of the French magazine Encyclopédie Alpha du CINEMA,
issue number 17, featured one page devoted to King Kong, along with
featuring the poster artwork on the back cover. It has been added to the
Magazines page.

I recently acquired a Ben Cooper children's Halloween costume for
King Kong. The box for my costume differs from the box that
Rich Hurley contributed previously. I've added photos of my

The December 1976 issue of the French magazine Salut! featured
a two-page spread for King Kong advertising a giveaway of 10,000
tickets to see King Kong! I own the ad pages, and I found photos of
the front and back covers on eBay.

This French press kit showed up on eBay, but the seller wanted way too much
for it. The press packet appears to be same English-language Preliminary

There's a new, slim paperback book by Gianluca Sposito called
King Kong: The Untold Story. Published by Italian publisher Intra in
both English and Italian, the book tells what happened to the "robot"
Kong and his styrofoam twin as they traveled the world after filming ended.

In 2011, Paramount packaged three movies in a DVD bundle called
When Animals Strike Back. Volume 1 included the 1976 King Kong,
Orca, and Congo. Scans of the front and back of this set have
been added to the Home Video Releases page.
