King Kong, Jim Beam, and Ripley's Believe It or Not!

One of the oddball marketing partnerships for the 1976 King Kong was with Jim Beam whiskey. Jim Beam produced a special King Kong decanter containing Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey, and they partnered with Ripley's Believe It or Not! to produce ads for the whiskey.

I do not own one of these decanters, which are plentiful on eBay and other sites. As bizarre and cool as it is, I think it's ugly, and I just don't have any interest in owning one. These photos were collected from an eBay auction.
